At MG Music Studio, our Notes in Bloom program nurtures musical growth step by step, just like a flower in bloom. Designed for children ages 3 to 5, each level builds essential skills through a blend of play, creativity, and structured learning. From playful songs and movement to mastering piano fundamentals, students engage with music in a way that feels both fun and enriching.

Our curriculum covers solfeggio (Do-Re-Mi), instrument exploration (recorder, ukulele, and piano), and hands-on activities that foster a love of music. With each level, students develop greater technical ability, independence, and confidence, setting them up for success both on and off the stage.

🌟 Notes in Bloom (Level 1) (Ages 3-4)

The perfect introduction to music, laying the foundation for lifelong learning.

• Fun Fundamentals: Storytelling, games, and hands-on keyboard time.

• Music Basics: Introduction to solfeggio notations (Do-Re-Mi) and simple songs.

• Well-Rounded Education: Explore the recorder, ukulele, singing, dancing, and engaging storytimes.

🌟 Blossoming Melodies (Level 2) (Ages 3.5-5)

Building on foundational skills, this level helps students gain more confidence.

• Advanced Learning: Read and play 5-finger notations with the Right Hand.

• Solo Time: Encourages self-confidence and performance discipline.

• Instrument Exploration: Recorder, ukulele, singing, dancing, and storytimes for a well-rounded experience.

• End-of-Semester Performance: Showcase their progress on stage!

🌟 Blossoming Beats (Level 3) (Ages 4+)

This level introduces students to more advanced piano techniques and composition.

• Left Hand Playing & Bass Clef: Learn to play in unison with both hands.

• Introduction to Composition: Begin writing simple melodies.

• Performance Confidence: Build skills to perform with ease.

🌺 Garden in Full Bloom (Level 4) (Ages 4+)

This is the final step before students transition to private instruction.

• Chords & Both-Hand Playing: Learn about chords in C position.

• Refinement of Techniques: Master both clefs and coordinate hands with ease.

• Performance Ready: Prepare students for solo and ensemble work.
